The operation is expected to commence no earlier than July 26, lasting approximately 60 days until November 30, depending on weather and other operational constraints.

During the survey, one geophysical survey vessel, up to four unmanned surface vessels (USVs) equipped with geophysical survey equipment, and one support vessel will be deployed. These vessels will operate using shipboard and towed geophysical survey equipment.

The Bellrock offshore wind farm, developed by Nadara, is proposed to be located approximately 120 kilometers east of Stonehaven, with plans to install up to 132 floating turbines, achieving a total installed capacity of 1.8 GW. Earlier this year, Bellrock Offshore Wind Farm Limited, a wholly owned project company of Nadara, submitted applications for Section 36 consent and a marine license for the floating wind project to Scottish Ministers. If approved, the project will proceed to detailed design and further supply chain integration phases, with construction expected to begin in 2031.
