The contract covers design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, packaging, dispatch, and transportation, with delivery terms set as delivery at site.
The scope of supply includes 1,050 km of AL59 Moose conductor for the Tuticorin transmission project and 3,770 km of AL59 Zebra conductor for the Pune-III project. The order value of Rs 1.8516 billion includes packaging, transshipment, freight, and transportation insurance costs, but excludes Goods and Services Tax. The contract adopts a variable pricing mechanism linked to the London Metal Exchange (LME) aluminum price, aluminum premium, and USD/INR exchange rate, with the base pricing set at an LME aluminum price of USD 2,550 per metric ton, a premium of USD 106 per metric ton, and an exchange rate of 87 INR per USD. The final actual value may vary based on the agreed price adjustment formula.
Delivery is scheduled between July 2026 and February 2027, with specific delivery locations to be notified separately by Adani Energy Solutions. DPIL emphasized that the order is awarded by a domestic entity and does not constitute a related party transaction, with no promoter or promoter group entity holding any interest in the buyer.
Diamond Power Infrastructure specializes in manufacturing power cables and conductors, covering voltage ratings from 1.1 kV to 400 kV, serving clients including utility companies, engineering, procurement, and construction contractors, renewable energy developers, and industrial users.
