en.Wedoany.com Reported - ACME Solar, through its subsidiary ACME Renewtech Fifth Pvt Ltd, has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corp. of India Ltd (SECI) for the development of a 300 MW Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected solar-wind hybrid renewable energy project. This capacity was awarded to ACME under SECI's Hybrid Tranche IX tender at a tariff of INR 3.25 per unit, which has been approved and adopted by central and state regulatory authorities.

According to ACME, the solar-wind hybrid project will be connected to the ISTS substation, leveraging its already secured high-irradiation and wind-rich areas. Under the PPA terms, ACME Solar will supply power with a minimum annual Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF) of 30%. The project is scheduled to commence power supply by June 30, 2028.
This transaction brings ACME Solar's signed PPA portfolio to 6,870 MW, with its total contracted renewable energy portfolio reaching 8,070 MW, encompassing solar, wind, solar-wind hybrid, Firm Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE), and energy storage projects. The cumulative renewable energy portfolio includes 2,990 MW of operational contracted capacity and 5,080 MW under construction, of which 3,880 MW is backed by signed PPAs. Additionally, the company is developing approximately 3.62 GWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity.
