en.Wedoany.com Reported - Russia's Fesco Transport Group achieved a record import container transportation volume via Far East ports in the first half of 2026, transporting nearly 140,000 TEU during the period.

This transportation volume represents a 65% increase compared to the same period in 2025 and a 19% rise from the previous record set in the first half of 2024.

A key factor driving this record result was the significant increase in import cargo transported via the regular maritime service of Fesco China Direct Line (FCDL). This route connects Chinese ports with Vladivostok Commercial Sea Port (VSP). In the first half of 2026, the group transported over 113,500 TEU via FCDL, a year-on-year increase of 72%.

The growth is attributed to changes in the international container shipping market, which led to a shift of some import cargo flows to routes via Russia's Far East. In response, Fesco adjusted its FCDL service, increasing route capacity by adding additional vessels and optimizing operations to provide customers with the necessary capacity during peak demand periods.

Fesco China Direct Line includes three regular container routes connecting Vladivostok Commercial Sea Port with major Chinese ports such as Shanghai, Ningbo, Xingang, Dalian, Rizhao, Lianyungang, Yantian, and Nansha. Currently, the combined capacity of this route exceeds 5,000 TEU per week, and Fesco plans to further expand capacity between Chinese ports and Vladivostok.
