The company unveiled its "8.6G ELA" laser crystallization equipment for large-area substrates and equipment based on solid-state laser annealing (SLA) technology at the exhibition. Under the theme "32 Years of Progress," AP Systems also took the opportunity to introduce its display equipment development history and business expansion journey.
The 8.6G ELA is a laser crystallization device designed for processing large-area substrates. AP Systems stated that the equipment aims to improve the mass production speed and process efficiency of 8.6-generation OLED production lines by enhancing throughput.

The equipment based on SLA technology focuses on improving maintenance efficiency and equipment uptime. The company noted that the development goal of this equipment is to reduce the maintenance burden and costs during operation.
AP Systems plans to expand the supply of related equipment in line with global panel manufacturers' investments in 8.6-generation OLED production lines for IT devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops. The actual order volume and timing of revenue contribution will depend on customers' equipment investment schedules.
The company officially entered the LCD equipment business in 2003 and built a product line for excimer laser annealing, laser lift-off, and encapsulation equipment for OLED processes in 2008.
In 2017, AP Systems expanded its business scope to include module process equipment such as bonders and BPL. It launched an inkjet-based equipment business in 2020 and ventured into solar equipment fields such as edge isolators and LDSE in 2023.
A representative from AP Systems stated that in response to the investment demand for 8.6-generation OLEDs, the company has improved the throughput and maintenance efficiency of large-area substrate equipment and will pursue related equipment orders in line with global panel manufacturers' investment schedules.
