en.Wedoany.com Reported - Borgman Capital has announced an investment in CMW Equipment, a distributor of concrete production and road equipment based in Bridgeton, Missouri. Borgman Capital will collaborate with the CMW management team to support its next phase of growth. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1956 by three construction industry professionals, CMW initially focused on specialized concrete paving and compaction equipment. Over time, its capabilities have expanded to include project design, sales of new and used equipment, parts and consumables supply, equipment rental, and on-call service support. Currently, CMW serves concrete producers and contractors across 10 states.

Sequoya Borgman, founder and CEO of Borgman Capital, stated that CMW attracted investors due to its strong business model, knowledgeable team, and decades-long reputation built through serving customers. He noted that CMW consistently meets customer needs while maintaining high service standards, and its long-tenured management team, including the retained former owner, helps preserve its culture and customer relationships.

Larry Glynn, President of CMW, said he joined the company in 1977 as a sales representative and later became the owner. Having been an integral part of his life for nearly 50 years, finding the right successor was crucial. He believes Borgman Capital understands the importance of preserving the company's legacy while investing in its future. Glynn will continue in his role.

Borgman Capital will support CMW Group's growth by expanding service coverage and entering new markets. The firm has prior experience investing in equipment distribution, dealer networks, and rental business models, including Durex Products, Halo, and Aerial Work Platforms. This investment in CMW marks Borgman Capital's 21st acquisition since its founding in 2017. Bank of CMG provided senior financing, Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren served as legal counsel to Borgman Capital, and True North Mergers & Acquisitions acted as exclusive financial advisor to CMW.
