The new system is first applied to the KASTOwin band saw series, with plans to expand to other models. The optimized software architecture shortens program loading times, accelerates input response, and improves equipment availability.
At the core of the new control system is a clearly structured dashboard that intuitively displays key indicators such as operating time, downtime, current work orders, and machine status. Operators can quickly view running jobs, flexibly adjust work order sequences, and switch views during cutting processes. The interface includes simultaneously viewable function windows and context-sensitive help, reducing clicks and speeding up operations.
The system offers a "Simple Mode" that simplifies the display and guides new users safely through sawing. Different user roles ensure that operators, supervisors, and maintenance personnel only access task-relevant information. Users can customize personal settings such as language and measurement units, shortening training time.

A pre-installed material library matches material profiles with cutting feed and speed. Users can retrieve previously entered material data at any time, reducing work order input time. The cutting plan function quickly creates multiple sawing jobs, adapting to different cutting lengths and order complexities. Each plan corresponds to a specific order, ensuring clear organization and traceability throughout production.
Each job can have individual process parameters set, precisely customized to maximize efficiency. In conjunction with the Optisaw Light software module, the cutting plan's potential is fully realized.
