UAE's Grandweld to Build Two Offshore Support Vessels for Saudi Arabia's Bahri

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Grandweld Shipyards, one of the UAE's largest integrated shipyards serving the maritime and offshore industries, has signed an agreement with Bahri Logistics, the integrated logistics business unit of Saudi Arabia's National Shipping Company (Bahri), to design and build two advanced offshore support vessels.

Grandweld and Bahri Logistics reached the agreement during a formal signing ceremony held at Grandweld's office in Dubai Maritime City.

Under the agreement, Grandweld will be responsible for the design and construction of the vessels to meet Bahri Logistics' offshore operational requirements at Ras Tanura Port. This port is one of the busiest energy hubs globally and a key gateway for Saudi oil exports. Grandweld stated that this collaboration will leverage the complementary strengths of both parties, combining Grandweld's ship design and construction capabilities with Bahri Logistics' experience in maritime and offshore operations.

The agreement was finalized during a formal signing ceremony held at Grandweld's office in Dubai Maritime City, attended by key representatives from both companies and Stanford Marine, the parent company of Grandweld Shipyards. The vessels are scheduled for delivery this year.

Jamal Al Abki, General Manager of Grandweld Shipyards, stated that the partnership with Bahri Logistics reflects their trust in Grandweld's ability to design and deliver advanced vessels for demanding offshore environments.
