en.Wedoany.com Reported - Gruber Logistics Germany recently announced that the comprehensive transformation of the former Universal Transport Group has been "successfully completed," with the company achieving its best-ever operating results in the first half of 2026.

In September 2022, Gruber Logistics acquired Universal Transport. Since then, the former Universal Transport sites have been gradually integrated into Gruber Logistics' structure. The company stated that by clearly focusing on its core business—including the divestment of tire and caravan trading—additional resources were freed up for strategic business areas, and the success of these measures is clearly reflected in the business figures.

Excluding the special effects arising from the acquisition and restructuring, the former Universal Transport Group generated revenue of €90 million in the first half of 2026, surpassing the previous record of €75 million set in the same period of 2022 (the year of acquisition); the operating margin (EBIT) reached 4%, doubling compared to the same period in 2022.

Martin Gruber, CEO of Gruber Logistics, stated that the successful completion of the restructuring, the strengthening of management structures, and the deep progress in integration into the Group have laid a solid foundation for the company's future development. The current focus is on achieving sustainable profitable growth in strategic core markets and further integrating into the international network of the Gruber Logistics Group.

Over the next two years, the company will focus on three strategic goals: expanding its market position in the energy, wind power, construction, and precast concrete component industries, infrastructure, and public-sector customers; fully completing its integration into the international business of the Gruber Logistics Group; and pursuing controlled and sustainable expansion in selected markets.

Gruber Logistics Germany stated that deeper integration into the international network will bring additional growth opportunities and is expected to enhance the company's competitiveness in its strategic target markets.
