en.Wedoany.com Reported - Nexa Resources Peru S.A.A. is advancing the drilling and ongoing evaluation program for the Vanessa project, located in the Huayllapampa valley, in the districts of Huayllapampa and Tapacocha, Recuay Province, Ancash Region. The program aims to determine the morphology, volume, tonnage, and metal content of the mineralized zones in the study area to improve the estimation of existing polymetallic resources.

Nexa's objective is to verify the presence of mineralized bodies in the target area, delineate their extent, and assess their mineral resource potential. To this end, the company plans to implement 60 diamond drill holes across 20 drill platforms, with a proposed total drilling length of 37,200 meters and an average efficiency of 30 meters per day per drill rig. The project's environmental feasibility is based on the fact that major facilities will be located more than 50 meters away from any identified surface water body.
