en.Wedoany.com Reported - Boeing Distribution and Hartzell Aviation (HA) have signed a distribution agreement under which Boeing Distribution will supply more than 7,000 parts to Hartzell Aviation, covering the product lines of all brands under Hartzell Aviation. Under the agreement, Boeing Distribution's global logistics network, supply chain management capabilities, and 24/7 e-commerce platform will complement Hartzell Aviation's engine accessories, exhaust systems, engine mounts, and heating solutions for general aviation operators and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) organizations.

Ritesh Agarwal, Director of Strategy and Business Development at Boeing Global Services, stated that the agreement ensures operators can obtain the parts they need at the time and place they require them, and that Boeing Distribution's digital and global capabilities will shorten lead times and improve access.

This collaboration aims to strengthen Boeing Distribution's product offerings in the business and general aviation sectors while protecting and enhancing its existing relationships in this market. Specific measures include: adding more than 7,000 Hartzell Aviation parts to Boeing Distribution's product line, improving parts coverage, interchangeability, and availability for operators and MROs; shortening lead times and enhancing AOG (Aircraft on Ground) response capabilities for general aviation fleets through new inventory placements and distribution points; and covering professional technical support, global inventory positioning, and streamlined procurement processes to reduce downtime and lower operating costs.

Keith Bagley, President of Signia Aerospace Corporation, Hartzell Aviation's parent company, stated that this partnership reflects Hartzell Aviation's commitment to improving aircraft availability in the general aviation market. He noted that collaborating with Boeing Distribution expands Hartzell Aviation's ability to serve global customers through its brands. The brands involved include Hartzell Engine Technologies, Hartzell Aviation MRO, Lamar Technologies, Aerospace Welding, Plane-Power, POWERUP, Sky Tec, FuelCraft, and AeroForce Turbocharger Systems.

Customers can access Hartzell Aviation starters, alternators, heaters, fuel pumps, ignition systems, turbocharger components, exhaust systems, engine mounts, and related parts through Boeing Distribution's e-commerce platform at shop.boeing.com/distribution.
