en.Wedoany.com Reported - The National Ports Administration of Uruguay (ANP) will implement a dredging area fleet and asset maintenance management system project, with UTE CONEX providing consulting services and the dredging area technical team directly participating. ANP aims to optimize the planning, maintenance, and tracking processes of its dredging fleet by introducing management tools used in highly complex organizations.

Manuel Ferrer, Manager of the ANP Dredging Area, stated that the dredging fleet is a strategic asset for the operations of the Port of Montevideo and other ports in the country, and it is necessary to improve its operational availability through timely and efficient maintenance. The initiative includes defining, formalizing, and documenting fleet maintenance processes, developing strategic plans for each asset, and assisting in the implementation of asset management system software.

The project also covers support and personnel training during the technical platform launch phase, to consolidate standardized management, strengthen maintenance planning, and ensure the continuity of system operations.

Within the consulting framework, UTE CONEX will provide advisory services in asset management methodologies, process modeling, data structuring, and technical and functional software configuration. ANP, for its part, is responsible for providing technical knowledge of the fleet and dredging operations, determining equipment criticality, maintenance tasks and frequencies, and designating personnel responsible for verifying and operating the systems.

The project advances in five phases: process description and documentation, determining maintenance requirements for each asset, consulting prior to technical implementation, management software deployment, and training and change management measures.
