Univar Solutions has announced the acquisition of Interpur Chemicals, which will be integrated into the Performance Materials segment of its Ingredients + Specialties division, enhancing the company's technical capabilities and regional footprint in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

By combining Interpur Chemicals' local market expertise with Univar Solutions' supplier relationships and distribution network, customers will gain better access to materials, greater supply continuity, and enhanced support in product formulation design and performance requirements.

Nick Powell, CEO of Univar Solutions' Ingredients + Specialties division, stated that the integration of Interpur Chemicals brings together complementary product portfolios, technical expertise, and strong customer relationships. He noted that Interpur Chemicals' position in one of Europe's fastest-growing CASE (coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers) markets aligns closely with the division's strategic priorities; this acquisition will expand services to customers while continuing to invest in capabilities that support long-term growth in key applications and end markets.
