en.Wedoany.com Reported - Eve Air Mobility (NYSE: EVEX, EVEXW; B3: EVEB31) announced that its engineering prototype has completed its first partial transition flight, marking a new phase in the development and testing of the company's electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.

The partial transition flight involved activating the pusher propellers at the rear of the aircraft, marking the beginning of the transition phase from vertical flight to wing-borne flight. During the test, the pushers were activated to 1,200 RPM, and the aircraft reached a stabilized speed of 27 knots, with a maximum ground speed of 30 knots. The entire flight lasted 3 minutes and 9 seconds, covering a distance of approximately 0.84 nautical miles, with a maximum altitude above ground of 90 feet.

Johann Bordais, CEO of Eve Air Mobility, stated that successfully activating the pusher propulsion system in flight validated a critical aspect of the aircraft design, bringing the company one step closer to delivering safe, efficient, and scalable air mobility solutions.

The transition phase is one of the most critical aspects of eVTOL flight, involving the aircraft's shift from vertical lift to forward flight. The successful completion of this initial partial transition test helps Eve expand the aircraft's flight envelope and validate system performance.

Marcelo Basile, Head of Engineering at Eve Air Mobility, stated that this flight successfully demonstrated in-flight pusher activation and validated key performance targets at the onset of the transition phase. The data collected will support continued envelope expansion, providing a basis for subsequent higher-speed and more complex transition flight tests.

Eve's flight test engineering team is continuing load and structural analyses to support future envelope expansion. Following the aircraft's flight test program, the company plans to conduct data link tests to validate radio link performance and support operations at speeds up to 50 knots. In the coming weeks, Eve expects to progressively expand the aircraft's airspeed envelope and conduct additional flights using pusher activation within the broader transition flight test campaign.
