en.Wedoany.com Reported - STIHL has launched its new-generation professional battery system, ALLPRO, designed for forestry, landscaping, and municipal applications. The system delivers higher power, faster charging, and longer runtime in a lighter structure, while remaining fully compatible with existing AP-series tools and chargers, allowing users to continue using their current equipment.

The new STIHL ALLPRO battery system utilizes advanced tabless technology, delivering greater power, faster charging, and a longer service life.

At the core of the ALLPRO system are new high-performance batteries with varying energy capacities. Through innovative tabless technology, these batteries deliver improvements in power output, power-to-weight ratio, runtime, and charging speed, while maintaining the durability STIHL products are known for. Compared with the previous-generation AP 300.0 S battery, the new ALLPRO AP 300.0 P battery delivers 60% higher peak power, 20% longer runtime, shorter charging times, and a service life of up to twice as long—up to 3,000 charging cycles. This means fewer battery replacements and correspondingly higher work efficiency.

Michael Traub, CEO of the STIHL Group, stated that the ALLPRO battery system brings together the company's 100 years of experience in developing gasoline-powered equipment and decades of battery technology expertise. Compatibility with the existing AP system ensures that customers' existing investments in tools and charging equipment continue to deliver value.

The ALLPRO series includes four new batteries: AP 100.0 P, AP 200.0 P, AP 300.0 P, and AP 300.0 PC. Their performance advantages stem from tabless technology—in conventional battery cells, energy flows through a single point via the tab, which restricts energy flow and generates heat under load; tabless cells allow energy to flow across the entire cell surface, improving efficiency, reducing heat buildup, and shortening charging times. Since heat is a major factor in battery degradation, this technology also extends overall battery life.

Fast charging is another key feature of this technology. Using the STIHL AL 1602 MO mobile fast charger, ALLPRO batteries can be charged to 80% in under ten minutes, suitable for indoor and outdoor scenarios such as job sites, vehicles in transit, or workshops. When paired with the STIHL PS 2000 power supply, batteries can be charged in remote locations without access to conventional power, supporting continuous all-day operation by charging one battery while another is in use. ALLPRO batteries have an IPX5 protection rating, resisting water jets and splashes from all directions, and are designed to deliver up to 3,000 charging cycles without performance loss.

Different ALLPRO battery models offer differentiated weights and energy capacities to suit various job requirements. The AP 100.0 P weighs 2 lbs with a capacity of 111 Wh, serving as a lightweight option for handheld tools such as hedge trimmers and pole pruners; the AP 200.0 P weighs 2.9 lbs with a capacity of 222 Wh, targeting comprehensive performance for everyday tasks; the AP 300.0 P weighs 4.2 lbs with a capacity of 333 Wh, offering the longest runtime as a powerful model for demanding jobs; the AP 300.0 PC adds connectivity features on top of the AP 300.0 P, enabling integration with STIHL's digital fleet management system. The intelligent electronics built into ALLPRO batteries ensure consistent performance across all STIHL tools. The Power Boost function delivers maximum output when needed, while the Constant Power function maintains full performance throughout the entire discharge cycle, so tool performance does not decline as the charge level drops.

In addition to the tabless-technology batteries, the ALLPRO system also offers two alternative products: the AP 20.1 and AP 30.1. These batteries use standard cell technology and are designed for professionals who do not require ultra-fast charging but prioritize durability and consistent performance, at a competitive price point.

The STIHL ALLPRO battery system is now available through authorized STIHL dealers and online at stihlusa.com.
