Located at a prominent site on Scotswood Road, the project will become Big Yellow's second facility in the city, providing approximately 60,000 square feet of internal self-storage space across four floors.

Designed to meet the growing demand for flexible storage solutions from both personal and business customers, the modern development will feature customer loading/unloading areas, office and reception spaces, staff welfare facilities, parking, landscaping, and associated external works. Sustainability has been integrated into the project from the outset, with rooftop photovoltaic panels and battery storage systems forming part of the building's energy strategy. The development also targets a BREEAM "Very Good" rating. Construction is expected to be completed by summer 2027.

The self-storage market continues to expand across the UK.
