In terms of synergy opportunities, crop residues and by-products can be used to produce renewable energy, while by-products from ethanol production, such as DDGs (Dried Distillers Grains), re-enter the production system as animal feed ingredients. The Biofuels & Distilled Spirits division provides yeast, enzymes, nutrients, and fermentation process solutions for ethanol and other biofuel production.
