Bergara, Spain tenders photovoltaic and solar thermal project for municipal sports hall with a budget of €229,251

en.Wedoany.com Reported - The government of Bergara, in the province of Gipuzkoa, Spain, has recently launched a tender for a grid-connected self-consumption photovoltaic power generation facility on the roof of the municipal sports hall. The project covers equipment supply, installation, administrative procedures, and commissioning, with an installed capacity of 199.5 kWp. Interested companies must submit their bids before August 31. The contract budget is €229,251, the construction period is 90 days, and the procurement procedure is an open tender.

The sports hall building features a lightweight roof covered with profiled steel sheets, in addition to two concrete flat roofs intended for solar thermal facilities, which will replace the existing solar thermal utilization system. The photovoltaic facility will be installed on the top roof in a dual-slope configuration according to the drawings, with a usable area of 2,000 square meters, using coplanar support structures. The system will be equipped with 380 monocrystalline photovoltaic modules, each with a power output of 525 Wp, composed of 120 cells, connected to two grid-connected three-phase inverters with a rated power of 100 kW each. The photovoltaic strings and inverters will be connected using H1Z2Z2-K type copper insulated conductors, with a rated voltage of 1/1 kV (1.8/1.8 kV) and a cross-section of 10 mm².

In addition to the photovoltaic power generation system, the project also independently designs a solar thermal facility that uses solar energy to produce domestic hot water, with a support structure anchored to concrete. This system is configured with 42 monocrystalline photovoltaic modules, each with a power output of 595 Wp, totaling 144 cells, with a total installed capacity of 24.99 kWp, and includes a 2,000-liter storage tank (maximum working pressure 8 bar, maximum temperature 95°C). The system is equipped with a Sol Thor DC energy manager, which directly converts the electrical energy generated by the photovoltaic array into thermal energy through resistive load regulation. This project has not received funding from EU funds.
