en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Special Bidding Committee of Brazil's National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) formally defined this Thursday (6th) the areas and blocks pertaining to the 4th Permanent Production Sharing Bidding Round and the 6th Permanent Concession Bidding Round. The public auction session is scheduled for October 7th.

The production sharing round comprises a total of 13 blocks, all of which have received declarations of interest submitted by 6 companies. The selected blocks are Azurita, Hematita, Larimar, Magnetita, Turmalina, Aragonita, Cerussita, Cruzeiro do Sul, Granada, Jade, Opala, Rodocrosita, and Rubi.
The concession round received 12 declarations of interest, defining 22 areas: SC-AP1, SC-AUP1, SC-AUP2, SC-AP3, SCE-AP2, SCE-AP3, SES-AP2, SES-AUP3, SPN-SE, SPN-N, SPOT-T1B, SPOT-T2, SPOT-T3, SPOT-T4, SPOT-T5, SREC-T1, SREC-T2, SREC-T3, SS-AR4, SS-AP4, STCT, STUC-S. Among these, SPOT-T4 and STUC-S are marginal accumulation areas. ANP stated that this is the round with the largest number of areas and blocks since the permanent bidding mechanism was launched.
Companies already registered for the permanent concession bidding and permanent production sharing bidding must submit their declarations of interest by August 31st at the latest; those who miss the deadline may participate in the bidding by forming consortia with companies that have already submitted declarations of interest.
