en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 10, Turaco Gold announced the latest drilling results from the Adiopan-Assupiri deposit at the Afema Gold Project in Côte d'Ivoire. A total of 17 diamond drill holes were completed for 2,984 meters, of which 13 holes primarily tested down-dip extensions of mineralization, while the remaining 4 holes were for metallurgical sampling for the Definitive Feasibility Study and were not assayed.

Hole ADIDD0049 returned 15m of gold mineralization at 4.72 g/t Au from 122m, including 6m at 8.71 g/t Au; hole ADIDD0037 returned 18m at 2.71 g/t Au from 113m, including 4m at 9.37 g/t Au. Other results include 66m at 1.07 g/t Au from 77m, and 15m at 3.62 g/t Au from 164m. All reported intersection lengths are down-hole lengths, and true widths have not yet been determined.

Strike-extension hole ADIDD0045 returned 15m at 2.74 g/t Au from 146m, extending known mineralization approximately 150m to the north. Hole ADIDD0046 returned 5m at 5.28 g/t Au from 293m, which the Company interprets as an extension of the western Assupiri structure; approximately 700m of the structure between this hole and existing drilling at the northern end remains untested. Mineralization at Adiopan remains open along strike and at depth.

Constrained resources at the existing Assupiri open pit stand at 33.8 million tonnes at an average grade of 1.2 g/t Au, containing 1.28 million ounces of gold, of which approximately 67% is classified as Indicated. Total project resources at Afema remain at 4.65 million ounces, with no new resource estimate generated from these results. The Company will continue extensional drilling at Adiopan and other deposits to assess opportunities to expand the Pre-Feasibility Study open pit and to define underground resources outside the pit.
