en.Wedoany.com Reported - Recently, China Post Group and CATL officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Lu Wei, President of Postal Savings Bank of China, and Zheng Shu, Chief Financial Officer of CATL, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties, while Liu Aili, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Chairman of China Post Group, and Robin Zeng, Chairman and CEO of CATL, jointly attended and witnessed the signing ceremony.

Leveraging their respective strengths, both parties will promote the low-carbon transformation of the logistics industry through green finance and jointly pursue high-quality development:

Building a Logistics "Battery Bank" Ecosystem: The two parties will focus on all logistics scenarios, including urban delivery, long-haul trucks, unmanned vehicles, and drones, to jointly establish a "Battery Bank" for the logistics industry, providing users both within and outside the postal system with full life-cycle services covering battery leasing, intelligent charging and swapping, centralized maintenance, and recycling.

Creating a Zero-Carbon Logistics Demonstration System: By integrating advanced new-energy transport capacity, automated equipment, robotics, and green operation models, the two parties will drive the zero-carbon upgrade of logistics parks and jointly build an intelligent zero-carbon logistics service system.

Providing Embedded Supply Chain Logistics Services: China Post will integrate deeply into the supply chain system of CATL's production bases and smart factories, embedding warehousing and transport capacity directly into production parks throughout the entire process—from raw material intake, semi-finished product allocation, to finished product dispatch—while jointly formulating safety transport standards for battery logistics.

Deepening Green Finance and Ecosystem Synergy: China Post will consolidate financial resources under its umbrella, including Postal Savings Bank of China, China Post Securities, and China Post Insurance, to provide settlement, financing, supply chain finance, and cross-border financial support, facilitating the electrification of the logistics industry.

Looking ahead, both parties will pragmatically advance the implementation of all cooperation initiatives, empowering traditional industry upgrades through technological innovation and network synergy, and jointly contributing to the green and low-carbon transition in the transportation and logistics sectors.
