en.Wedoany.com Reported - Ryanair, Europe's largest airline, and Google Cloud have announced a five-year partnership to deploy Google Workspace and Google Cloud services to 35,000 employees across Ryanair's network, supporting the company's growth target of 300 million passengers by 2034.

The deployment includes Gemini Enterprise—Google Cloud's agentic AI platform designed to connect organizational data, automate workflows, and create custom AI agents. Ryanair will leverage Gemini Enterprise to assist in automated decision-making, optimize crew scheduling, and enhance overall enterprise productivity, while strengthening business resilience through a new dual-cloud strategy.
In terms of specific technical applications, Google Cloud will build a multi-cloud system for Ryanair that can invoke multiple cloud service providers, enabling critical aviation services to switch rapidly even if a single cloud platform fails, ensuring continuity of flight operations and customer service. Ryanair also plans to adopt Google DeepMind models AlphaEvolve and WeatherNext to assist with fleet operations and maintenance scheduling. On the collaboration infrastructure front, Google Workspace with Gemini will replace existing collaboration systems to modernize workflows.
Ryanair CEO Eddie Wilson stated that achieving the 300 million passenger target by 2034 requires robust infrastructure resilience, and the new dual-cloud strategy provides support for this. The partnership with Google Cloud puts Gemini Enterprise and Google Workspace into the hands of the team, enhancing infrastructure resilience while driving efficiency improvements across the business.
Maureen Costello, Vice President for Google Cloud in the UK, Ireland, and Sub-Saharan Africa, noted that the aviation industry is known for precision, and Ryanair is a pioneer in operational execution. This agreement demonstrates that deploying generative AI at scale combined with modern collaboration tools for frontline employees can help industry leaders scale safely, reduce operational costs, and redefine the travel experience.
