Bosch's New $300 Million Plant in Nuevo León, Mexico, Begins Operations

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Bosch has officially commenced operations at its new plant for the Home Comfort division in Ciénega de Flores, Nuevo León, Mexico. The project represents an investment of $300 million and has created 900 direct jobs in the region.

The new facility manufactures air conditioning and climate control solutions, allowing the German group to integrate this division with its existing industrial technology and consumer goods operations, thereby diversifying its business in Nuevo León.

The inauguration tour of the new plant was led by Governor Samuel García and Paul Thomas, President of Bosch North America, with Alexander Firsching, President of Bosch Mexico, and Emmanuel Loo, Nuevo León's Deputy Minister of Investment, Innovation, and Artificial Intelligence, also part of the delegation.

This launch is part of Bosch's ongoing expansion plan in northern Mexico in recent years. Three years ago, the company announced the construction of its largest plant in Mexico in the city of Salinas Victoria.

During the official event, Alexander Firsching highlighted Mexico's historical significance to the group's global operations and reaffirmed a long-term commitment to the region, anticipating a more dynamic phase of growth in the coming years: "We have been in Monterrey for 20 years and in Mexico for 70 years; we must make up for 50 years with faster growth in the years to come."

Betsabé Rocha, Nuevo León's Minister of Economy, acknowledged the company's importance in investment attraction policies, stating: "Bosch is a company that well represents Nuevo León's industrial ecosystem, due to its advanced manufacturing, innovation, talent development, and long-term investment."

With the integration of the Ciénega de Flores site, Bosch's operations in Nuevo León now run on three main pillars: the Home Comfort division handles the manufacturing and engineering of climate control systems, Rexroth focuses on industrial technology, and the BSH brand handles consumer goods production.

This integrated model covers the entire chain, from technical design and large-scale manufacturing to marketing and professional maintenance services, thereby strengthening the state's economic development and technology transfer.
