en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 17, Hunan Communications International Economic Cooperation Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Communications International"), together with Huatuo Mining Engineering Co., Ltd., formed a construction consortium and officially signed the "Mining Engineering Construction Service Contract" with local Tumen Aili Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Tumen Aili Company") in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia.
The total contract value exceeds 2.08 billion RMB, with a cooperation period of up to 10 years. This is the first large-scale mining project secured since the company began its deep cultivation of overseas markets, marking a "zero-to-one breakthrough" for Communications International in the field of mining engineering services and injecting strong momentum into the company's development of new growth curves and expansion of its international business landscape.

The project is located in Dornogovi Province, Mongolia, covering the full chain of mining services including overburden stripping for open-pit coal mines, raw coal extraction, waste dump supporting facilities, and mining area ecological restoration. With its large scale, long duration, and complete industrial chain, this project represents a key achievement in the company's efforts to adapt to changes in the international infrastructure market and innovate overseas business models. Throughout the entire process, the project upholds the concept of green and low-carbon development, balancing efficient mineral development with water and soil ecological protection, and striving to build a safe, efficient, and low-carbon standardized modern overseas mining benchmark project, continuously strengthening the company's brand competitiveness in the international engineering arena.

The successful landing of this project is a key practice of Communications International in proactively advancing industrial structure upgrading. The company's business layout has achieved three transformations: extending from traditional road, bridge, and municipal construction to comprehensive mining engineering services; shifting from relying on external channels to secure projects to independently cultivating overseas resource markets; and expanding from single construction contracting to full-cycle integrated comprehensive services. The diversified business layout further enhances the company's resilience against risks and comprehensively tests its comprehensive core capabilities in market development, large-scale project coordination, and cross-industry resource integration.

As the only subsidiary within the Hunan Construction Investment Group authorized to establish a mining business segment, Communications International will leverage the Mongolian mining project as a strategic fulcrum, fully relying on the group's hundred-billion-level full industrial chain resources and its own years of overseas operational experience, to continuously expand diversified businesses in mining construction, mineral resource recycling, and mining area ecological restoration, improve full-chain mining service capabilities, and drive the mining segment from "single project breakthrough" toward large-scale, professional, and long-term development.

In the next step, the company will build on its presence in the Mongolian market, radiate to mineral-rich regions in Central Asia to continuously explore overseas mining engineering business, and establish the mining industry as the second growth pole for international business after transportation and municipal engineering. In the future, Communications International will unswervingly follow the path of internationalized, professional, and diversified high-quality development, continuously enhance its comprehensive overseas operational capabilities, deepen Sino-Mongolian bilateral economic and trade exchanges with tangible engineering achievements, and contribute the solid strength of a provincial state-owned enterprise to the joint construction of the "Belt and Road Initiative."
