Cebrace, a joint venture between Saint-Gobain and the NSG Group, has held a leading position in Brazil's glass industry for over four decades.Under the MOU, Cebrace intends to supply back glass for solar modules to Homerun and provide strategic advisory services for the plant's development, construction, and operation. The MOU is exclusive, granting both parties an exclusivity framework during the evaluation period; any commercial relationship remains subject to due diligence and the execution of a definitive agreement.

Homerun previously completed a feasibility study in May 2026, planning the construction of two front glass production lines, one back glass production line, and one hybrid production line.Should a definitive agreement be reached following this MOU evaluation, the plant could be adjusted to three front glass production lines and one hybrid production line—front glass being the highest-margin product, this adjustment would increase high-margin capacity by 50%.

Located in Bahia, the project leverages local high-purity low-iron silica sand resources, with a planned daily capacity of 1,000 tonnes.Homerun has secured the Desenvolve tax incentive from the State of Bahia and received a letter of intent for financing of up to €170 million from a European project finance bank in July 2026.The evaluation phase under this MOU will cover technical, operational, commercial, and financial aspects.
