Canada's 1911 Gold Reports 96.3% Gold Recovery at Manitoba Project

On Thursday morning, the company's shares rose 6.96% on the Toronto market, pushing the price to 84 cents per share, the highest level since June.

Test work at True North examined a 130-kilogram sample with a measured head grade of 1.82 grams of gold per tonne. Gravity recovery averaged 51.0%, flotation recovery was 44.5%, and leach recovery averaged 95.5%. Shaun Heinrichs, President and CEO of 1911 Gold, stated that the test results confirm excellent gold recoveries, with a significant portion of gold recovered through the gravity stage and the remainder readily leachable in the flotation concentrate.

Initial metallurgical work at the Ogama-Rockland project used a composite sample with a measured head grade of 4.65 grams of gold per tonne. The test report shows a gold recovery of 82.0% from gravity separation and a recovery of 97.7% from leaching of reground flotation concentrate. Heinrichs added that the preliminary test results confirm the clean nature of the material, which can achieve high recoveries at the True North mill.

True North is a gold exploration and mining operation centered around a centralized ore processing facility near Rice Lake, Manitoba. The Ogama-Rockland gold project is located approximately 45 kilometers from True North and consists of two historical mines. Between 1948 and 1951, these mines produced approximately 45,000 ounces of gold at a grade of 11.25 grams per tonne.
