Under the current plan, photovoltaic modules will be integrated with the parking canopies, forming an on-site system for solar power generation, energy storage, and electric vehicle charging. Electricity generated by the project can be stored and used on site, with vehicle charging facilities installed at all 12 parking spaces.

The project will directly utilize the existing parking area of Åkersberga Golf Club, involving no additional land acquisition. Smartports will be responsible for the construction of the energy station solution, with the project site located at the existing premises of Åkersberga Golf Club. The two parties have not yet disclosed the photovoltaic installed capacity, battery energy storage capacity, project investment amount, construction start date, or planned commissioning date.
