UAE's Villa Avatea Sells for $59.9 Million in 2026

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Amali Properties, a Dubai-based ultra-luxury real estate developer, announced that Villa Avatea within its Amali Island project has been sold for $59.9 million, ranking among Dubai's top residential transactions of 2026. The company was co-founded by Ali Sajwani and Amira Sajwani, with the project located on The World Islands.

The transaction was completed in March 2026. The developer stated that the sale reflects sustained demand in Dubai's ultra-luxury residential market.

Villa Avatea is a seven-bedroom villa with a built-up area of 35,764 square feet, situated on a plot of 58,081 square feet, comprising a basement and three floors. Often described as an "island within an island," the residence features multiple swimming pools, a lazy river, a three-story open atrium, a private beach bar, a spa, a teppanyaki pavilion, entertainment spaces, and wellness facilities.

Ali Sajwani, Co-Founder and CEO of Amali Properties, stated that Dubai has solidified its position as a leading city globally for ultra-luxury properties valued at over $10 million, and the Villa Avatea transaction underscores this. Amali Island comprises 24 villas and, according to the developer, offers Dubai's first residential "drive-in, drive-out" experience, featuring seven architectural styles with views of the Arabian Gulf, the Dubai skyline, and Palm Jumeirah. The project spans approximately 1.2 million square feet, connecting Uruguay Island and San Paolo Island within The World Islands, with each villa enjoying up to 50 meters of private beachfront. The island is approximately a 6-minute boat ride from the Dubai mainland and about an 18-minute drive from Dubai International Airport.

The project's interior design is led by hospitality design firm HBA, architecture by studio Elastic, and landscape architecture by SquareM Design, with the three firms jointly defining the design character of each residence at Amali Island.
