Mastercam and ProShop Forge Strategic Partnership to Create a Connected Manufacturing Workflow

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Mastercam has announced a strategic partnership with ProShop ERP, a manufacturing execution system built specifically for precision machine shops.

According to both companies, the collaboration aims to deliver a more connected, end-to-end digital manufacturing workflow. Programs and program data from Mastercam—including tool lists, program numbers, and cycle times—will flow into ProShop's production workflow. ProShop's native AI tool, Chip, learns from this information, providing estimators and planners with real program data rather than guesswork, which means every job makes the shop smarter.

As part of this strategic partnership, ProShop has signed a Third-Party Developer Agreement with Mastercam. This agreement allows ProShop to develop tools such as complementary applications and integrations that can exchange data with Mastercam and support tighter interoperability between programming and manufacturing operations.

The two companies will showcase some of the results of this collaboration at The International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS), which will be held at McCormick Place in Chicago.
