en.Wedoany.com Reported - Spinner Werkzeugmaschinenfabrik has introduced two new universal lathes, the TTS36 and TTS52, with the TTS52 celebrating its world premiere at the AMB trade fair. The two machines were developed for high-precision, high-efficiency machining in confined spaces, targeting manufacturing companies that still need to organize production flexibly and economically.

Spinner Werkzeugmaschinenfabrik has added more compact models to the TTS series, designed for smaller workpiece areas, with the design focus on high dynamic performance, high precision, and synchronized machining capability with two turrets, while maintaining a small footprint. Managing Director Axel Spinner stated that many manufacturing companies are looking for powerful, highly flexible, and compact machines, which was the design starting point for the new TTS models; especially in mid-sized companies, production floor space is becoming increasingly valuable, and demands for speed and automation are continuously rising.

The machines feature a 90-degree inclined bed design, offering bar stock through-hole diameters of 36 mm or 52 mm depending on the model, capable of machining bar stock parts up to approximately 52 mm × 200 mm, as well as chuck parts up to approximately 200 mm in diameter. High spindle speeds are a standout feature: both the main spindle and driven tools reach up to 10,000 revolutions per minute.

In terms of configuration, both machines are equipped with two turrets, each with 12 BMT45 tool stations and a travel length of 450 mm; the total machine length is approximately 2.4 meters, and modular configuration options are available to suit different applications. Another technical highlight is the transversely movable counter spindle, which enables the transfer of eccentric workpieces, making the machines better suited for high-efficiency machining of complex parts.

The TTS36 and TTS52 can be equipped with the latest control systems from Siemens or Fanuc, allowing for flexible integration into various production environments.

Sales Manager Ivan Ivanda stated that demand for compact high-performance machines is growing significantly, especially in applications where precision, productivity, and automation must be considered together; the TTS36 and TTS52 are solutions designed precisely to meet this demand.
