en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 31, Repsol confirmed the completion of its first bunkering operation at Peru's Chancay Port, delivering 740 tons of very low sulfur fuel oil (VLSFO) to a container vessel. The operation was carried out by Repsol's tanker Thomas B, which has a fuel loading capacity of approximately 20,000 tons.

Thomas B had previously been deployed in Repsol's marine fuel operations in Peru. Repsol currently operates two bunker vessels, Thomas B and Adrian, at Callao Port, with deadweight tonnages of 20,000 tons and 16,000 tons respectively, providing round-the-clock marine fuel supply services. The marine fuels supplied by the company in Peru include high sulfur fuel oil with a sulfur content of 3.5%, very low sulfur fuel oil with a sulfur content of 0.5%, and low sulfur marine diesel with a sulfur content of 0.1%.
According to Repsol's official marine fuel business documentation, its previously listed supply port in Peru was Callao Port, where both VLSFO RMG 380 0.5% and MGO DMA 0.1% could be delivered via bunker vessels. Following the completion of this first bunkering operation at Chancay Port, Repsol's marine fuel supply operations have now been extended to Chancay Port.
