In order to mitigate the impact of rising international oil prices on the domestic market, ensure stable economic operation and social livelihood, temporary regulatory measures have been adopted for domestic refined oil prices on the basis of maintaining the current pricing mechanism framework.

According to calculations based on the current pricing mechanism, on September 11, the prices of domestic gasoline and diesel (standard products) should have been raised by 435 yuan and 420 yuan per ton respectively. After regulation, the actual increases are 260 yuan and 250 yuan.

The National Development and Reform Commission will guide refined oil production and sales enterprises to make every effort to ensure refined oil production and transportation, ensure stable market supply, and cooperate with relevant departments to intensify market supervision and inspection, strictly investigate and punish illegal and non-compliant acts such as failure to implement national price policies, effectively maintain market order, and protect consumer interests.
