China's Chongqing-Wanzhou High-Speed Railway Enters Static Acceptance Stage

Static acceptance is a key step in the completion acceptance of newly built railway projects, and is a comprehensive "health check" of the project's engineering quality, equipment operating status, and overall system functions. During the static acceptance period, the construction unit established a professional static acceptance team, strictly following national railway construction standards, and carried out full-coverage verification and testing of track, bridges and tunnels, communication and signaling, electric traction, station facilities, safety protection, and other works by specialty, verifying engineering quality item by item, strictly controlling the project construction quality threshold, and ensuring the project meets design standards and opening requirements.

After the Chongqing-Wanzhou HSR is completed and opened to traffic, it will strengthen the connection between the urban agglomeration in the Three Gorges Reservoir area of northeastern Chongqing and the Chongqing metropolitan area, greatly facilitate travel for people along the line, promote economic and social development along the route, and be of great significance for better serving the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.
