New Zealand's Scott Technology Releases High-Speed Compact Palletizer

The equipment can handle over 35 cases per minute while reducing its footprint by approximately 25% compared to similar solutions, with a focus on addressing the challenge of enhancing palletizing capacity within limited space in existing plants.

The NexPAL 200HL employs a high-speed layer-forming palletizing architecture. After cases enter the equipment, the infeed and row-forming strokes can proceed simultaneously, reducing waiting time and maintaining continuous product flow. The equipment uses servo control for case positioning and layer pattern formation, and can call up preset recipes based on different products, packaging specifications, and pallet stacking patterns, adapting to production environments with frequent changeovers across multiple product specifications.

In terms of line integration, the equipment can connect to Scott's product conveying, pallet conveying, and pallet handling systems, as well as interface with NexBOT automated transport equipment and the MAESTRO+ control and scheduling platform, incorporating palletizing, logistics handling, and production data management into a single end-of-line automation system. MAESTRO+ provides unified coordination of equipment operation and material flow, delivering status visualization, process traceability, and control functions for the production line.

Scott Technology officially disclosed the NexPAL product launch on September 17, positioning the NexPAL 200HL as part of the company's materials handling business expansion. The company also plans to showcase the equipment at PACK EXPO International 2026, further promoting its high-speed palletizing automation solutions to food, consumer goods, and packaging manufacturing customers in North America.
