Siemens Energy Signs 1.7 GW Mobile Power Agreement with US-Based Dynamis
en.Wedoany.com Reported - Siemens Energy has signed a multi-year supply agreement with US-based Dynamis Power Solutions to provide 119 SGT-400 gas turbine core engines for its DT18 mobile power generation system. The total generating capacity of the related equipment exceeds 1.7 GW, with the first batch of core engines scheduled for delivery in 2027.

The total generating capacity of this mobile power package will reach 1.7 GW, primarily targeting market demand for faster-to-deliver and more flexibly dispatchable generating capacity. Related application scenarios include data centers, industrial customers, and oil and gas operations.
The SGT-400 supplied by Siemens Energy is a twin-shaft gas turbine suitable for power generation and mechanical drive applications in the 13–15 MW power range. It can burn up to 65 vol% hydrogen and is adaptable to a variety of application scenarios. Each SGT-400 core engine will be installed in Dynamis's DT18 ultra-mobile power package.
The DT18 is the next-generation product of the Dynamis DT35. The DT35 can be transported and operated using only two trailers, and the entire system can be deployed and relocated within 14 hours.
Regarding the growing demand for such solutions, Karim Amin, Member of the Executive Board of Siemens Energy, said that as industries expand and energy needs evolve, demand for reliable and flexible power generation continues to grow; the partnership combines proven gas turbine technology with an innovative deployment concept to help customers quickly obtain generating capacity.
Matt Crawford, CEO of Dynamis, said the agreement helps the company deliver power when and where its partners need it most, and responds to the market's growing demand for flexible power solutions. He stated that with approximately 2 GW of packaged power, Dynamis has established a leading position in the ultra-mobile power market, and these SGT-400 packages will significantly expand that capacity.
These gas turbine core engines will be manufactured at Siemens Energy's facility in Lincoln, UK, with the first batch to be delivered in 2027.
