en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 13, Canadian mining company Patagonia Gold announced the latest drilling results from its Calcatreu gold-silver project in Río Negro Province, Argentina, having intersected high-grade gold-silver mineralization in the Belén West mineralized zone. Among the results, drill hole BE-032R returned an 8-meter mineralized interval from a downhole depth of 21 meters, averaging 15.71 g/t gold and 476.6 g/t silver; within this, a 1-meter sub-interval graded 68.3 g/t gold and 3,209 g/t silver. The company plans to add approximately 10,000 meters of exploration drilling over the next 12 months.

This drilling campaign covered two mineralized areas, Belén and Nelson. At Belén West, the high-grade interval in hole BE-032R also includes 5 meters of continuous mineralization grading 25.45 g/t gold and 808.4 g/t silver. Another hole, BE-040R, intersected a 4-meter mineralized interval grading 9.8 g/t gold, including 2 meters at 17.65 g/t gold. Hole BE-059R in the Belén area returned 6 meters grading 6.59 g/t gold and identified a new east-northeast-trending branch vein, Julieta, at the northern end of the mineralized zone.

In the Nelson area, hole NLO-033-D returned 7.7 meters grading 3.24 g/t gold and 55.94 g/t silver, including a 5-meter interval grading 4.8 g/t gold and 85 g/t silver. Of the 51 holes included in this report, 37 are in the Belén area and 14 in the Nelson area, all meeting the 0.3 g/t gold cutoff grade used for reporting mineralized intervals. Belén and Nelson are located approximately 450 meters west and 100 meters southwest, respectively, of the existing Veta 49 open pit.

The Calcatreu mining concession covers a total area of approximately 55,000 hectares, with current exploration work concentrated within an area of less than 3,000 hectares. The company has identified over 20 kilometers of surface hydrothermal mineralized structures, of which 5.7 kilometers host defined measured, indicated, or inferred mineral resources. Approximately 32 exploration targets have been identified across the property, 7 of which have defined resources, while the remaining targets are still at the preliminary exploration or drill-testing stage.

Patagonia Gold has purchased a Boart Longyear LF90D diamond drill rig, which is expected to arrive at the project site by the end of November 2026. The next phase of drilling will continue to test the along-strike and down-dip extensions of the Belén and Nelson mineralized zones, as well as other exploration targets on the property. The drilling results announced herein were obtained after the effective date of the current resource estimate dated January 14, 2026, and have not yet been incorporated into that resource estimate or the previously released preliminary economic assessment.
