en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 13, India's Adani Enterprises signed a non-binding memorandum of cooperation with the United States' Jabil, planning to establish a 50-50 joint venture in India to engage in the manufacturing and assembly of artificial intelligence and data center hardware. Under the cooperation framework, the joint venture plans to build multi-gigawatt-scale AI equipment manufacturing capacity, with products covering AI server racks, servers, storage devices, network equipment, and supporting power and cooling systems.

The proposed joint venture will produce and assemble data center hardware for high-performance computing, with AI server racks used to integrate servers, storage, and network systems. The supporting manufacturing scope includes power distribution units, liquid cooling systems, and transformers, and plans to provide equipment installation and commissioning services. The multi-gigawatt-scale manufacturing capacity proposed by both parties corresponds to the total power scale of the computing systems that the equipment can support.

Jabil will provide engineering design, supply chain management, and electronics manufacturing capabilities, while Adani Enterprises will participate in building the joint venture platform by combining its existing energy, infrastructure, and data center businesses. Both parties plan to supply equipment to domestic Indian and international data center customers, including large cloud service providers, AI cloud computing operators, and data center enterprises.

This memorandum is a further advancement of the cooperation plan announced by both parties in June 2026. On June 15, Adani Group and Jabil had announced plans to establish an AI and data center infrastructure manufacturing platform in India, with cooperation covering high-density computer racks and supporting power supply, distribution, and thermal management equipment. The new agreement on October 13 further clarified the equity proportions of both parties in the proposed joint venture.

Adani Group previously proposed investing 100 billion US dollars by 2035 to build AI data centers with a total scale of 5 gigawatts powered by green energy. Jabil's manufacturing business also involves critical power management and high-performance computing liquid cooling systems, with its Hanley Energy Group and Mikros Technologies providing related technology and manufacturing capabilities, respectively.
