500kV Booster Station of Luohé Power Plant Phase IV 2×1000 MW Ultra-Supercritical Coal-Fired Units Successfully Energized

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 16, the 500kV booster station of the Huainan Luohé Power Plant Phase IV 2×1000 MW coal-fired power project, for which China Energy Engineering Group Construction Co., Ltd. undertook the construction of Package A, was successfully energized. Located in Huainan City, Anhui Province, the project is a key construction project under Anhui Province's 14th Five-Year Plan for Energy Development, and involves the construction of a capacity-replacement million-kilowatt double-reheat unit on the original site of the Phase I units.

As a key node for the project's auxiliary power supply and power transmission, the construction of the booster station buildings, electrical equipment installation, grounding, cables, and secondary systems has been completed. During construction, the project department strictly implemented the design drawings and current electric power standards, strengthened process quality control, and all defects identified during inspection and acceptance by the electric power engineering quality supervision station have been fully closed out and rectified, and passed re-inspection. On-site safety isolation, warning signs, opening sealing, and fire-fighting facilities have been improved simultaneously, meeting the conditions for power transmission.

The energization was carried out in an orderly manner in strict accordance with the dispatch instructions of the provincial dispatch center. The startup and energization operations of the 500kV booster station GIS equipment and GIL equipment were successfully completed, and the equipment was energized in one attempt and operated normally. During the energization period, the project department arranged professional technical and safety personnel to be on duty on site, fully cooperating with dispatch to carry out equipment monitoring and defect handling.

The successful energization of the 500kV booster station marks that the project's transmission channel and receiving system are ready for operation, laying a solid foundation for the overall startup and grid-connected power generation of Unit 7. (Yan Kailin)
