en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 14, Australian mining company Larvotto Resources announced that its Hillgrove gold-antimony mine in New South Wales completed the shipment of its first batch of 68 tonnes of antimony concentrate, with long-term offtake partner Wogen Resources taking delivery at the mine site. This delivery satisfies the conditions for the first partial payment under the offtake agreement between the two parties, marking the mine's entry into the commercial product delivery stage following the resumption of production in August 2026 and the production of its first concentrate in September.

The Hillgrove processing plant is currently increasing its throughput capacity, and the antimony concentrate production system has achieved stable operation. Larvotto disclosed that equipment availability at the processing plant has outperformed the original plan, daily ore throughput continues to increase, and antimony concentrate grades are gradually improving. The project uses flotation technology to recover antimony and gold. The antimony concentrate production line is equipped with roughing, Jameson flotation and cleaning equipment, and the concentrate enters the product delivery stage after thickening and filter pressing.

According to the current development plan, the Hillgrove mine has an initial mine life of 8 years, with planned annual production of approximately 4,900 tonnes of antimony and 40,500 ounces of gold. Larvotto has signed a 7-year antimony concentrate offtake agreement with Wogen Resources and a concurrent gold concentrate offtake agreement with Glencore International AG. With the first antimony concentrate deliveries underway, the company is preparing the first gold concentrate shipment while also advancing gold doré production.

Larvotto is also conducting tungsten recovery metallurgical testwork in Australia and Canada, continuing to screen related production equipment and optimize the beneficiation process, with plans to commence tungsten product processing in 2027. The company is concurrently advancing the ramp-up of the existing antimony-gold processing system, progressively increasing toward design production capacity.
