As part of the agreement, Hithium will provide technical training to BOS Power and authorise the company as a certified service provider. This arrangement ensures localized support and improved operational efficiency for customers in the region, aligning with the growing demand for advanced renewable energy solutions.
Kelson Li, senior director of sales at Hithium, highlighted the importance of the collaboration: “Partnering with BOS Power strengthens our presence in Northern Europe and supports the region’s transition to a more flexible and renewable grid. By combining our advanced energy storage technology with BOS Power’s expertise in large-scale energy storage and renewable integration, we are not only addressing the growing demand for local renewable energy supply and supporting the green transition – we are also shaping the future of energy innovation.”
BOS Power also underscored the significance of the supply agreement. Kim Strate Kiegstad, head of energy storage at the company, stated: “This agreement highlights our commitment to delivering large-scale, high-quality energy storage systems across Northern Europe. With Hithium’s advanced technology and our proven expertise in full EPC turnkey project execution and local integration, we are well placed to support customers in building reliable, flexible, and sustainable energy infrastructure for the future.”
The first project under this collaboration is already under construction in Denmark. The deployment is expected to contribute to regional energy stability by storing renewable power and releasing it during peak demand periods. This helps balance supply fluctuations, enhances grid reliability, and supports broader sustainability goals.
Through this agreement, Hithium expands its footprint in Northern Europe while BOS Power strengthens its portfolio of large-scale clean energy projects. The cooperation combines Hithium’s battery storage technologies with BOS Power’s experience in engineering, procurement, and construction, as well as local integration expertise.
The initiative reflects the increasing role of cross-company partnerships in advancing energy infrastructure. By aligning technology innovation with on-the-ground execution capabilities, the collaboration demonstrates how storage projects can play a central role in enabling renewable energy integration and ensuring long-term energy security for the Nordic region.
