The seller is Nolan Capital, Inc. The deal is valued at approximately $150 million in cash, subject to customary price adjustments. The transaction is expected to close before the end of 2025, pending regulatory approvals and standard closing conditions.

This acquisition represents an important step for Kemira, as it expands its Water Solutions business into the industrial water treatment services sector. Water Engineering, Inc. has strong expertise in boiler and cooling tower water treatment formulations, as well as industrial wastewater treatment solutions across industries including food and beverage, manufacturing, and healthcare. The company also offers opportunities for cross-selling Kemira’s existing product portfolio.

In recent years, Water Engineering, Inc. has achieved steady growth.
