Lenovo has expanded its portfolio of data storage, virtualisation and management solutions to help enterprises modernise IT infrastructure for demanding applications and artificial intelligence workloads.
Lenovo is broadening its portfolio of hybrid cloud and data lifecycle services to enhance its existing hardware and software offerings.
The updated offerings include new models in the Lenovo ThinkSystem and ThinkAgile families, together with extended professional and managed services.
New ThinkSystem DS Series all-flash Storage Area Network (SAN) arrays provide high-performance block storage designed for simplified deployment and management in virtualised environments. The ThinkAgile FX Series introduces an open hyperconverged platform that allows customers to switch between supported software stacks without hardware replacement.
The ThinkAgile MX Series now supports disaggregated external Fibre Channel SANs for Microsoft Azure Local and adds next-generation Nvidia RTX Pro 6000 GPU options to accelerate enterprise AI inferencing. The ThinkAgile HX Series integrates the Nutanix Enterprise AI software stack, enabling straightforward deployment and scaling of AI models in virtualised or containerised settings.
Complementing the hardware, Lenovo has broadened its hybrid-cloud and data-lifecycle services. These include accelerated deployment services for ThinkSystem and ThinkAgile platforms, flexible storage-as-a-service options through Lenovo TruScale, and Hybrid Cloud Advisory Services to assist with compliance, data protection and operational efficiency.
Migration Services help organisations combine on-premises and cloud resources, while Premier Enhanced Storage Support delivers proactive monitoring, performance tuning and expert guidance from Lenovo specialists.
Lenovo data storage general manager and executive director Stuart McRae said: "With disruptions in enterprise virtualisation strategies and the mandate to make their data ready for the most demanding workloads, organisations are looking to modernise their legacy infrastructure with open solutions. These new offerings provide the security, flexibility, and performance to optimise enterprise applications and power enterprises to extract maximum value from data."
The expanded portfolio gives customers greater choice and scalability as they upgrade infrastructure to support AI innovation, hybrid-cloud operations and data-intensive enterprise applications.
