At a regular press conference in Beijing, spokesperson He Yadong addressed inquiries regarding reports of licenses with extended validity periods. He confirmed the approvals, noting that relevant authorities have provided policy guidance to exporters since the introduction of export control measures on these items.

As exporters have gained practical experience in handling exports and ensuring compliance, a number have now satisfied the necessary conditions to qualify for general licenses, the spokesperson explained.

This development supports orderly trade while aligning with established regulations on dual-use items.
