RIGA has successfully completed the commissioning of Cement Mill No. 1 for a cement industry client in the Ras Al Khaimah region of the UAE, marking a key milestone in its broader mill upgrade program.

This upgrade project focuses on the modernization of two cement mills. Currently, the commissioning of the first mill has been successfully concluded, and the upgrade of the second mill is progressing in an orderly manner. During the project implementation, RIGA dismantled existing equipment including the old separator, bag filter, grate separator, as well as all related connecting pipelines, material conveying systems, and discharge chutes.

The upgrade project is comprehensive, encompassing the fabrication and installation of new base frames and platforms across multiple levels. It also involved the installation of key new equipment such as new bag filters, a dynamic separator, a cyclone separator, a pre-collector, a mill ventilation fan, and a bag filter fan. The introduction of these new systems will significantly enhance the production efficiency and environmental performance of the cement mills.
