Recently, the Benin Cotton Road LOT2 highway project completed the laying of 72.94 kilometers of graded crushed stone base course, marking a significant milestone in the project's progress.
During the construction process, the project team strengthened whole-process control, arranging for technical personnel to supervise on-site throughout. They dynamically adjusted the laying thickness, moisture content, and compaction passes of the base course material to ensure the construction quality met standards on the first attempt. By enhancing equipment support and personnel coordination, and implementing a system of designated responsibility and backup mechanisms for key equipment, they effectively addressed practical challenges such as complex local transportation coordination, dense villages along the route, and high construction intensity.
All construction departments and work teams collaborated closely, advancing in a coordinated manner around the construction node targets. While ensuring project quality and safety, they efficiently completed the base construction task for this section of the highway project.
In the next step, the project team will continue to strengthen on-site organization and quality control, orderly promote subsequent construction processes, and ensure the smooth implementation of the entire highway project according to plan.
