China Mobile Guangdong Company won the bid with 155 million yuan. The procurement project includes one set of Huawei warm/cold data backup storage equipment, with a unit price of 44.5986 million yuan.
It is reported that the total budget for the project is 155.5 million yuan. The procurement items include intelligent computing power open service system software and hardware and service support, information security and operation and maintenance software and hardware and service support, warm/cold data backup storage equipment and supporting facilities. Each item's product name requires "imports rejected."
The tender announcement mentioned that the Guangming Large Facility will be constructed using Huawei Ascend 910C equipment and the Tiangang architecture designed for ultra-dense clusters, and will be carried by Huawei's highest-performance Lingqu Bus. The overall system provides intelligent computing power of 160 exaFLOPS (16-bit floating-point operations per second). It includes two subsystems: basic hardware and basic software. (1) The basic hardware subsystem consists of three sub-subsystems: computing processing, interconnection communication, and global storage. Computing nodes are interconnected using the Lingqu Bus. The global storage subsystem is configured with high-performance tier storage equipment OceanStor A800 (SSD raw capacity 30.9PB) and high-capacity tier storage equipment OceanStor Pacific 9550 (HDD raw capacity 62PB), using RoCE protocol for networking. (2) The basic software subsystem includes five sub-subsystems: AI programming environment, program performance analysis and optimization tools, high-performance operator development environment, distributed communication engine, and parallel computing acceleration library.
Information shows that the Huawei OceanStor Pacific 9550 intelligent distributed storage integrates 2 storage nodes in each 5U chassis, using HDD high-capacity primary storage. Each chassis can provide an ultra-large raw capacity of 720TB to 2160TB, reducing rack space occupation by 62.5% compared to general-purpose storage servers.
