84 Mines Selected! Shandong, China Announces Results of the Tenth Batch of Provincial Green Mines

Wedoany.com Report on Feb 10th, Recently, the Department of Natural Resources of Shandong Province, China, in conjunction with the Department of Ecology and Environment, the Department of Emergency Management, the Energy Bureau, and other relevant departments, organized the selection work for the tenth batch of provincial green mines. After processes including enterprise self-assessment, city/county recommendation, third-party evaluation, on-site verification, soliciting opinions from departments, deliberation at the department head's office meeting, and public announcement, a total of 84 mines passed the selection and have been included in Shandong Province's Provincial Green Mines Directory (Tenth Batch).

The mineral types of the selected mines are widely distributed, covering 17 types including geothermal, natural brine, petroleum (natural gas), and bromine mines. Among them, geothermal resources are particularly prominent, with 48 geothermal mines selected, accounting for 57%, making it the leading mineral type in this batch of green mines.

In terms of the administrative regions where the mines are located, Dezhou City has the highest number of selected mines this time, with a total of 38; Weifang City and Dongying City rank second and third, with 13 and 10 mines respectively.
