By combining Infineon's semiconductor expertise with HL Klemove's technological capabilities in autonomous driving systems, the two parties will jointly advance innovation in electronic architectures for the software-defined vehicle (SDV) era and promote the development of autonomous driving technology.
According to the MoU, the collaboration will focus on three key areas. In the field of next-generation zonal control units (ZCUs), both parties will jointly develop related applications based on Infineon's microcontrollers and power semiconductors. HL Klemove will lead the application development, with Infineon providing technical support, to enhance competitiveness in the electronic architecture of software-defined vehicles. In the area of ADAS and camera solutions based on in-vehicle Ethernet, utilizing Infineon's Ethernet technology, the collaboration will develop front camera modules and ADAS parking control units. HL Klemove will be responsible for system development, while Infineon provides chip and network support to achieve a high-speed and reliable in-vehicle network. Furthermore, the two parties will also explore next-generation radar technology. HL Klemove will develop high-resolution short-range radar based on Infineon's radar semiconductor solutions, and both will jointly advance high-resolution imaging radar to improve object recognition accuracy.
