Australian outdoor furniture manufacturer Felton Industries recently launched the Tow & Fold mobile grandstand series, a portable spectator seating product designed for councils, schools, and event organizers, aiming to provide flexible and efficient spectator seating solutions.
Felton Product Marketing Manager Simon Clayton stated that this product responds to the demand for flexible infrastructure in community sports and large-scale events. He said, "The Tow & Fold mobile grandstand redefines the possibilities of portable grandstands, allowing councils, schools, and event operators to set up professional, high-capacity seating with less labor and greater efficiency."
The Tow & Fold mobile grandstand system is a high-capacity mobile seating solution that can quickly transform from a trailer configuration into a nine-tier grandstand, accommodating up to 200 spectators. Its 12-meter wide, nine-tier design aims to provide elevated viewing while maintaining a compact footprint.
Clayton added, "Many organizations currently rely on labor-intensive temporary scaffolding that needs to be assembled and dismantled for each event. The Tow & Fold mobile grandstand significantly reduces setup time, labor costs, and logistical complexity while ensuring a safe and professional spectator experience."
The grandstand is manufactured from heavy-duty steel and high-quality aluminum, complies with Australian structural standards, features enclosed tiers and non-slip surfaces, and possesses relevant certifications, helping users meet safety and insurance requirements. Clayton noted that the design emphasizes durability and low maintenance needs, supporting long-term asset value.

The Tow & Fold mobile grandstand units are towable and suitable for forklift handling, facilitating movement between oval grounds, parks, and sports facilities. When folded, the grandstand compresses into a compact format for easy storage and weather protection. Multiple units can also be combined to accommodate larger events.
The series targets regional councils, private schools, rental companies, sports venues, and event and rental operators, suitable for scenarios such as community sports, festivals, and gatherings.
