Everllence announced that it will deliver four compressor packages to MODEC for a new Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel at the Hammerhead field offshore Guyana.

This is the seventh FPSO project developed by field operator ExxonMobil Guyana Limited. The FPSO will be deployed approximately 200 kilometers offshore in water depths of about 1,025 meters. It is designed for an initial oil production capacity of 150,000 barrels per day and has a total storage capacity of 1.5 million barrels.

Upon its expected start-up in 2029, the FPSO is set to help boost Guyana's production capacity in the global energy market, bringing the country's total oil output close to 1.5 million barrels per day.

Andrei Popescu, Director of Oil & Gas Sales at Everllence USA, stated: "This order from the Hammerhead field further demonstrates our position as a reliable technology provider in Guyana's rapidly growing energy sector. It also highlights our ability to collaborate closely with partners and customers to deliver robust compression solutions for demanding offshore projects in South America and beyond."

Everllence's compressor systems will help increase the Hammerhead field's gas production and operational efficiency. The supply scope includes four barrel-type RB compressor packages, with two serving as low-pressure gas compressors and two as export gas compressors.

All compressors are electrically driven. The low-pressure gas compressors are controlled by Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), while the export gas compressors are driven by fixed-speed drives. The equipment will be designed, manufactured, and tested at Everllence's facility in Zurich, Switzerland.

The supply scope also includes comprehensive dynamic process simulation to optimize the process efficiency of the compressor systems. Daniel Schmidli, Head of Industrial Sales Southeast Asia at Everllence, added: "We are pleased to support MODEC's offshore development by providing proven compressor technology. Our solution is designed for high availability and long-term performance, complemented by full lifecycle services to ensure the FPSO operates reliably and safely in deepwater conditions."
